Kilmore Quay

19 April30260Electric (10 euros/unit) and water on the pontoon. Corner store in town but expensive plus a chippy and a number of reportedly good restaurants. The HM office has showers, toilets and a laundrette but only accesable during office hours. The WIFI is limited and the shower costs a euro for 2 minutes, whether the water is flowng or not.

New Ross - 3 Sisters Marina 22 April10440Electric (4/unit or 3 units for 10) and water on the pontoon. No other facilities provided. Right on the edge of town which has eveything including a Lidl and a fuel station opposite.
Dunmore East6 April030No facilities provided. The club appears to only open on a Sunday. The small village has a number of stores and a few expensive looking restaurants. 10 for a starter and 20 to 25 for a main.
Dungarvan 29 April 15 345 Water on the pontoon. Showers and WC in the club accessable when the clubs open and from 09.00 to 13.00 Monday to Friday. There is also a water tap on the steps outside the Anchor pub.
Ballycotton 02 May 0 1 0 No facilities. 6 visitor moorings just outside and NW of the harbour. There's a pub open most of the time and a restaurant which is open sometimes.
Royal Cork Yacht Club 03 May 28 2 56 Electric included in the berthing fee just plug in and water on pontoons. Laundrette in town. Chandlers in Cork provide a daily delivery.

 Kinsale Yacht Club Marina  07 May   36  2 72Electric included in the price and water on the pontoons. WC and showers in the club but you need a 2 token for the showers. Close to town with everything you could expect.including gas. Cost was 32 euros a night plus 4 euros harbour dues.

  Galway marina  01 June  18  5 90Electric (10 kw for 3 euros) and water on the pontoons. WC in the bus station (20c). Large town with everything and a small chandlers. 5 moorings outside left over from the Volvo Ocean race in 2009. Fuel from the nearby Texaco garage.
  Rossaveal  06 June  0  1 0 Public visitor moorings 10, but most are occupied by local boats. Didn't go ashore.
  Inishbofin  07 June  0  3 0At anchor in the bay. There is water on both peirs and electric on the old peir, but the electric outlet is surrounded by local stores and junk. Showers and wifi in the community centre and a small shop for provisions.
  Inishturk  10 June  0  1 0Public visitor moorings 3. Water on the ferry peir. Small shop and community centre come pub.
  Clare island  11 June  0  1 0Public visitor moorings 5. Water on the peirs. Shop and PO 2 miles away, community centre with take away and pub near the harbour.

  Sligo  13 June  12.5  2 25Electric (5 euros for 50kw) and water on the pontoons. Everything you could expect in a town. Small chandlers.
  Teelin  15 June  0  1 04 public visitor buoys. Berth alongside the peir. Water and electric on the peir. Talk to Paddy the skipper of Nuala Star, the unofficial harbour master. Pub a mile away, no food. Shop and more pubs in Carrick 5km.
  Aranmore Island  16 June  0  2 03 public visitor buoys
  Downies in Sheep Haven  18 June  0  1 08 public visitor moorings. Water and toilets on the peir. Small holiday resort wih a caravan site and hotels .Shops, pubs. Gas in shop.
  Lough Swilly Yacht Club  19 June    2Club marina with electric and water on the pontoon. Toilets and shower in portakabins. Showers and toilets in the club but the water may not be hot. Club house open sometimes but the Railway Tavern is close. Nearest town 4km away, Buncrana.
  Portsalon  21 June  0  1 0Public vistor mooring 3 off. Didn't go ashore
  Portrush  22 June    2 No HM, no pay. Wednesday was his day off. Apparently his engine blew up on Wednesday so he wasn't in work on Thursday and we left early Friday. Water and diesel (60p/l) on the pier. Shops close by and waterworld if you can't get a shower in the club.
  Rathlin island  25 June  £13.50  1 £13.50Water and electric included in the price on the pontoon. Small shop and pubs.
 Glenarm 27 July £15 2 £30Water and electric on the pontoon. Showers and toilets on the quay side. Pubs and supermarket close by in the village.
 Bangor 29 July £23.50 1 £23.50 Water and electric on the pontoons. Everything that you could expect of a good marina and town facilities.
 Down Cruising Club Strangford Lough 30 July £10 1 £10Pontoon alongside the club house boat with water and electric also toilet and showers in the club. Pubs near by.
  Strangford  31 July  0  1 0 Used a local pub mooring and had dinner there.
602.5 euros @ 82p/euro = £494.05 + £13.50 + £63.50 = £571.05Starting a new table for Britain.
